OK, so a degree in David Duchovny Studies (DDS) is not going to aid you toward getting the dream job. Hopefully, it will allow you to discover something about DD you didn't know, something about yourself you have yet to discover, an opportunity to meet some like minded people and maybe make some friends, or, just allow you to hone you writing skills that have laid dormant for many a year (yes...I am referring to myself with that one!).

XFU offers three degree levels. To qualify for a degree you must submit a thesis on an approved subject. To gain approval just send your topic and a brief outline to ddstudies@yahoo.com. To earn an undergraduate or Bachelors Degree, your thesis must be at least 10k in length. To earn an Masters, you must submit a second thesis on the same topic as your undergrad thesis and it must be a least 15k in length. As well, a Doctorate candidate must submit a thesis, again on the same topic as the undergrad and Masters thesis, and must be at least 20k in size.

Now...we do have a few rules....well guidelines if you will...that you must follow. They are as follows:

1. All thesis must pertain to David Duchovny and in some manner relate to his role as Fox Mulder (after all this is the X-Files University!)
2. All reference to DD must be made tastefully. Slamming or Flaming of David or his family is prohibited and is grounds for immediate expulsion form XFU. Our intent is not to malign Mr. Duchovny, but to express our appreciation for him and his talent. In all sense of fairness, legitimate critiques of his performances will be allowed, if the Department Head fells there was not malicious intent to degrade Mr. Duchovny by the author.
3. Thesis my be reality based, such as a critique of Mr. Duchovny's X-Files work or of a fanfic nature (NC-17 material will be accepted and a little humour goes a long way toward a good mark!)

OK, all serious stuff aside, what I really want you to do is have some fun with this. What better topic of study is there than this georgeous man...and if you can earn a degree while doing it...well, need I say more!
